Trip to the Woods

Yesterday we took a trip to the woods for a really nice project we had planned for awhile now. It was a really cold day and we froze our asses off .

Ieri am facut o mica excursie pana la padure pentru un proiect foarte dragut ce il aveam in plan deja de mult timp. A fost o zi foarte rece si am cam inghetat toti pe rand.

1. What did you study at University?

I studied Arts-Fashion design , and Horticultura-Architectural Landscaping. I did both at the same time.

2. Are you employed now? Where?

I have my own business, B.A.D. style fashion design and I work as a reporter for “Casa si Gradina” magazine.

3. What is your natural hair-color?

It is dark brown.

4. Perfect summer outfit?

Short jeans, a T-shirt and sport shoes. Comfortable and yet chic.

5. Favorite trend for this ss season?

This season’s hit color TANGERINE, is just perfect for me. I love it and I would wear it featured in clothing items, shoes, accessories , nail polish and lipstick.

6. A casual day outfit. How do you dress everyday?

It really depends on where I am going. If I have a lot of work and laces to go, I will pick jeans, boots, a simple blouse and a leather jacket. If I am going out for a business meeting or with my girls, I would pick a more feminine outfit, probably a casual dress.

7. Favorite beauty product.

I really love Skinlights Revlon foundation but it seems it got discontinuedL So now I eally like my Healthy Mix- Bourjois foundation.

8. Favorite accessory?

Definitely a watch. I am really in love with watches, different styles and colors.

9. How do you style your hair daily?

Either I just simply blow dry it after I washed it and just comb it a little before getting out of the house. Or I make a small pony tail, simple as that.

10. What do you think will never get out of style?

The little black dress ofcourse, and the simple casual outfit, jeans and white T-shirt.

Am propria mea afacere de creatie vestimentara, B.A.D. style. Si sunt redactor-reporter

colaborator la revista “Casa si Gradina”

3. Care este culoare ta naturala la par?

Culoarea mea naturala este saten inchis cu o tenta cenusie.

4. Tinuta perfecta de vara

O perche de blugi scurti cu un tricou vaporos si tenisi. Comfortabil si chic!

5. Tendinta preferata pentru sezonul de primavara/vara?

Cu siguranta ma voi atasa de culoarea anului TANGERINE. Imi place foarte mult si o voi

adauga in garderoba mea in mai multe piese vestimentare, accesorii, pantofi , lacuri de unghii

si chiar rujuri.

6. O tinuta lejera de zi. Cum te imbraci zi de zi?

Depinde de cat de multa treaba am si in cate locuri trebuie sa ajung. De cele mai multe ori alge

o pereche de blugi, cizme, o bluza simpla si o jacheta de piele. Daca merg la o intalnire de

afaceri sau cu prietenele la un ceai, voi alege o tinuta mai elegant, probabil o rochie.

7. Produs cosmetic preferat

Pana nu demult a fost fondul de ten de la Revlon- Skinlights, dar nu se mai fabricaL. Acum imi

place mult fondul de ten de la Bourjois-Healthy Mix.

8. Accesoriul preferat

Cu siguranta este ceasul. Am facut o mica pasiune pentru ceasuri, chiar de diferite modele si culori.

9. Cum iti aranjezi parul zi de zi?

Pur si simplu il usuc cu foenul dupa ce il spal, si apoi doar pieptanat .Cateodata il prind simplu

in coada.

10. Ce crezi ca nu se va demoda niciodata?

Rochia neagra evident, dar si tinuta casual simpla formata dintr-o pereche de blugi si un tricou alb.

There is nothing more apropriate for this weather, then an eskimo look.Well ok, I know that you are probably wondering if I lost my mind or not, getting out of the house wearing this.

So the answer is yes, I am losing my mind thinking about all the snow outside and the fact that it doesn't melt.

I think even the Easter Bunny will come with a sledge this year.

The stupid weather slows me down and it annoys me because I can't finish my work on time!

Anyone got an idea on how to get rid of all this snow?

Ce e mai potrivit pe vremea aceasta decat o tinuta inspirata din costumul eschimosilor. Bine, stiu ca va intrebati daca chiar am innebunit iesind asa din casa pe frigul acesta. Raspunsul este DA, am innebunit gandindu-ma la tona de zapada de afara care nu se mai topeste.

Cred ca si Iepurasul ca venii anul acesta cu sania.

Cel mai tare ma enerveaza ca vremea asta ma incetineste si nu reusesc sa termin nimic la timp!

Monday Morning

Monday again, and here I am presenting you a quick, healthy and delicious breakfast idea.

E din nou Luni , iar eu va prezint o idee sanatoasa, rapida si delicioasa de mic dejun.

Take a pita bread and warm it up a bit. Cut slices of tomatoes,chop a green or red onion, your choice, lettuce, goat cheese( or feta cheese) and I added some parsley leaves.

Luati o lipie si incalziti-o putin. Taiati felii de rosii, ceapa verde sau rosie, salata, branza de capra(sau feta), salata, iar eu am adaugat si putin patrunjel.

For the sauce, take some(4-5 spoons) youghurt(or sour cream), 1 garlic clove, 1 pickled cucumber. Smash the garlic and cut the cucumber into small bits. Add the youghurt a bit of salt and sugar to taste. I also added some chilly and basil.

Pentru sos, luati putin iaurt(4-5 linguri)(sau smantana), un catel de usturoi, un castravete murat. Zdorbiti usturoiul, taiat cubulete mici castravetele si adaugati iaurtul. Sare si zahar dupa gust. Eu am adaugat chilly si busuioc.

You spread the sauce in the middle of the bread, add ketchup if you want. and start adding all the ingredients that you prepared, layering each on top of the other.

Puneti intai sosul facut, puteti adauga ketchup daca va place, iar apoi incepeti sa puneti unul peste altul fiecare ingredient pregatit.

After you added all of the ingredients, roll it up and pin it with toothpicks so that it stays in place. Have a good apetite!

Dupa ce ati pus toate ingredientele, rulati cu grija si folositi scobitori pentru a impiedica desfacerea lipiei.

The King of the Castle

And it is still snowing....Yesterday I didn't post anything... sorry but it was a full day.. full of snow that is! And I had to go out in town for some shopping and meetings I had planned. So first I had to bury my car out of the snow:|. Luckily my mom got me out of the snow with a shovel because I got stuck while trying to leave home:))) It was a day full of surprises.

You can see even my dog Lucky hates snow, he only walks where the snow was cleaned, and stays in the house all day, like a king.

So hope you have a beautiful SUNday!

Si inca ninge...IEri nu am postat nimic pentru ca am avut o zi plina...... de zapada!

A trebuit sa merg in oras pentru ceva cumparaturi si intalniri deja stabiliite ....inainte de epoca de gheata.

Prima data trebuia sa incerc sa imi scot masina de sub mormanul de zapada:| Norocul meu a fost ca mama a reusit sa ma scoata din zapada cand am incercat sa plec din fata casei :)) A fost o zi plina de surprize.

Dupa cum se vede nici lui Lucky nu ii place zapada, el merge doar pe unde a fost curatat de zapada si sta toata ziua in casa ,ca un rege.

Sper sa aveti o duminica placuta!

Break the Ice and Melt the Snow

If I would have taken these pictures today, you couldn't have seen me because of the snow. Yes it is still snowing and this is killing me! I went out to get some groceries today... instead of a 5 minute ride to the shop , it took me 20 min to get the snow of my car, then another 25 to get there, 15 min to find a parking space inside so that the snow that was still on the car would melt until I finished.

And then another 25-30 min to get home. This weather really sucks! Now back to work inside the house where its is warm and cozy!

P.S. The pond was totally frozen, one wrong move and I would have ended up in the hospital!

Fashionably Dangerous !

Daca faceam azi fotografiile acestea cu siguranta nu m-ati fi putut vedea de stratul de zapada depus intre timp. Da, inca ninge , parca imi face in ciuda! Am iesit azi putin, trebuia sa fac ceva cumparaturi....in loc de 5 min cat imi lua inainte sa ajung la magazin, acum a durat 20 min sa imi dezapezesc masina, inca 25 sa ajung la magazin, 15 min sa gasesc un loc de parcare in subteran sa se poata topii zapada ramasa pana termin cumparaturile. Si apoi inca 25-30 min sa ajung acasa. Vremea asta strica tot! Acum inapoi la munca in casa unde e cald si bine!

P.S. Iazul este inghetat total, o miscare gresita si cred ca ajungeam direct la urgente!

Last SS season, brights were in aswell, bu it seems this season is even more brighter, so I suggest get some sun glasses girls and have a look at the new jean colors from NEXT.

You will surely get noticed in a crowd wearing them.

Color blocking, mixing and matching with prints, contrasting textures, it's all about imagination!

This year I will surely stick to tangerine, the hit color by Pantone, because I really love the shade.

Thinking of Spring

It is -10 C here, and I am really not into getting out of the house, but I have to. I really loved the light here in these pictures, it looked warm, like an early summer sun.

The pictures were taken a few days ago when it wasn't that cold outside, because today I would be dead by now if I would go out dressed like this.

So I as got tons of work to do, and I really have to get out of the house, I will add 4 layers of clothing, a furry jacket, the ugly but yet cozy UGG boots and a warm scarf. Then heat up the car, play some music and pretend I am going on a trip to the beach!

If you can't beat the cold , ignore it.

This is weapon.

Sunt -10 grade afara, si chiar nu am chef de ieist afara, dar trebuie.

Mi-a placut mult lumina din aceste fotografii, pare calda, ca un soare de primavara tarzie.

Fotografiile au fost facute acum cateva zile , cand nu era chiar asa frig , pentru ca daca as fi ieist azi imbracata asa , sigur eram moarta de mult.

Si cum am o tona de treaba de terminat si rezolvat, si trebuie sa ies din casa, voi imbraca 4 straturi de haine, o jacheta imblanita, cele mai urate dar si calduroase cizme UGG si un fular calduros. Apoi dau caldura maxima in masina, muzica buna si voi pretinde ca merg intr-o excursie spre plaja!

Daca nu pot combate frigul, ignora-l!

New Face Cream

As I really needed a moisturizing cream today because my last one was empty, I got one at the first glance from a local drug store.

I had to pick between the Nivea Oxygen night cream and Aslavital moisturizing cream with clay, because all the others seem not appropriate for my skin condition.

Even if I have mixt skin, it really need moisture, especially in the winter, so I really wanted a thick, moisturizing cream. finally I picked the Aslavital cream, that was around 6 euros, nivea was a bit more cheaper.

Anyway I am very curious on how this cream will work for me, and I will keep you posted.

What is your favorite face cream?

Cum aveam nevoie disperata de o crema hidratanta deoarece cea veche era goala de azi dimineata si nu stiam exact ce sa imi iau, mi-am cumparat azi una de la o farmacie din zona.

Aveam de ales intre Nivea Oxygen crema de noapte si Aslavital cream hidratanta cu argila, pentru ca toate celelalte nu pareau potrivite pentru tenul meu.

Chiar daca am tenul mixt, el trebuie hidratat bine mai ales iarna, asa ca vroiam o crema chiar grasa, dar potrivita tenului meu.

In final am ales crema hidratanta de ala Aslavital, care a costat aproximativ 24 de lei, nivera totusi putin mai ieftina.

Oricum, sunt foarte curioasa daca ma va ajuta aceasta crema si va voi tine la curent cu impresii pe parcurs.

Sunt foarte entuziasmata deoarece doua din creatiile mele au aparut in numar de Februarie al revistei GLAMOUR. Se pare ca vesta de piele este un hit, deoarece nu este prima data cand apare la rubrica de shopping intr-o revista gloss, iar jacheta de blana nu mai este pe stoc. Inseamna foarte mult pentru mine cand vad ca lumea apreciaza munca mea! Multumesc tuturor!Mi-ati facut ziua mai furmoasa!

Portuguese Tarts-Jamie Oliver

As I told you a few days before, I can't stop watching Jamie Oliver's recipies.

So I decided to try a recipe I saw one one of his episodes of Jamie's 30 Minute Meals. You can see the clip here

What you need:

pastry dough, that you can find at any supermaket

cinnamon powder

a muffin tray

For the filling:

1 egg

1 t-spoon of sugar

zest of half of orange

200 gr sour cream

First of all, take your pastry dough, roll it, not very thin, about 05.-1 cm thick, and on one side powder with cinnamon. Use your palms to even the powder all over the dough.

Dupa cum spuneam acum cateva zile, nu ma oprii din vizionarea episoadelor cu retetele lui Jamie Oliver.

Astfel intr-o zi am decis sa incerc o reteta vazut intr-unul din episoadele Jamie's 30 Minute Meals.

Puteti vedea clipul aici.

Ce aveti nevoie:

aluat foietaj, se gaseste aproape in orice supermarket

scortisoara pudra

o tava pentru briose

Pentru umplutura:

un ou

o lingurita de zahar

200 gr de smantana

Prima data, luati aluatul, si il intindeti bine, dar nu mai subtire de 0.5- 1 cm, si pudrati pe o parte cu scortisoara. Cu palma intindeti uniform pudra pe toata suprafata dupa care rulati pe o lungime.

Roll it up, and cut it in small chunks of 3-4 cm.

Rulati si taiat aluatul in bucati de 3-4 cm.

Then take them one at a time , withthe little spiral facing up, and push them down into a small disc.

Prepare the tray, and pre-heat the oven.

Luati fiecare bucata, intoarceti-o cu spirala formata in sus, dupa acre apasati pana se formeaza un disc.

Pregatiti tava si incalziti cuptorul.

Take each disc and put it inside the tray's hole, and drag the margins up to the top, just like wrapping the hole in pastry.

Do that for all of them, and put them in the oven.

Ia fiecare disc in parte , incercand sa il modelezi sub forma unei cupe, de marimea gaurilor din tava.

Puneti toate cupele formate in tava si bagati la cuptor.

Meanwhile prepare the filling.

Take the egg, a t-spoon of sugar and the sour cream, mix them together. Add some orange zest and put aside.

Intre timp preparati crema.

Luati oul, o lingurita de zahar si smantana si amestecati-le bine. pentru un plus de aroma, adaugati coaja de portocala rasa.

After, 15 min, take the tarts out and fill them with up. Then put them in the oven again for another 10 min.

Dupa 15 min, scoateti tartele si umpleti-le cu crema facuta mai devreme.Dupa care revin din nou in cuptor pentru inca 10 min.

Take a pot, some sugar and the orange you got left.

Melt the sugar, add the orange juice and make a caramel.

Pour it while hot on the tarts when they are ready.

Luati o oala,cateva linguri de zahar si o portocala.

Topiti zaharul si adaugati sucul proaspat stors , tine-ti pe foc pana se face caramel.

Turnati siropul cat e fierbinte pe tartele scoase din cuptor.

Fast and tasty! Enjoy.

Cupcake Party

I know I promised yesterday that I would post the surprise, but after the party I was too tired to get the photos and publish them, and I appologize.

So here are some snapshots from the little cupcake party I hosted yesterday. I also made some special pizza varieties that I think turned out great.

Colorful cupcakes of different flavours, and yes I don't remember which is which, so it was like take you luck on and see what it is filled with. Hopefully no one got hurt:P

Good music, giggles, laughter , hot teas and coffees.

I really enjoyed myself, hope that you all did too.

Stiu ca am promis ieri ca voi posta surpriza, dar dupa petrecere nu am mai reusit sa scot fotografiile si sa le public pentru ca eram prea obosita, si imi ecr scuze.

Mai jos sunt cateva instantanee facute aseara la mica petrecere cu prajiturele pe care am gazduit-o.

Pe langa dulciuri, am facut si cateva varietati mai speciale de pizza, care se pare ca au si iesit foarte bine.

Prajiturele colorate de diferite arome, si da, nu mai tin minte care ce aroma are si cu ce sunt umplute asa ca a fost un fel de roata norocului la alegerea lor. Cred ca nimeni nu a fost ranit in urma alegerii:P

This is the kind of salad that boosts up your energy level, keeps you healthy but also excites your senses with a sweet, sour, spicy mix of flavours.

Very easy to make, it just takes a few minutes. Perfect for a breakfast or light dinner.

So here is what you need:

Lettuce, rucola, tomatoes,mango, cheese, sprouted mixed seeds, pine nuts , oriental spices and basil, pepper, salt, olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

Cut the tomatoes, mango and cheese in bite size bits. Also, tare the lettuce in smaller bits too, add a handfull of rucola, sprouted seeds and pine nuts.Add salt, pepepr, oriental spice to your taste. A spoon of balsamic vinegar and 3 of olive oil.

Mix them up and you have a lovely salad! Enjoy :D

Aceasta salata poate fi considerata o combinatie energizanta, care te mentine sanatos si iti gadila simturile cu un mix de dulce, acru si condimentat.

Foarte usor de facut, dureaza doar cateva minute. Perfecta ca si mic dejun sau o cina usoara.

Ce aveti nevoie:

Salata, rucola, rosii, mango, branza, seminte incoltite, seminte de pin, condiment oriental, busuioc, piper,sare, ulei de masline, otet balsamic.

Taie rosiile, mango si branza in cubulete, iar salata rupe-o in bucati mai mici. Adauga o mana de rucola, semintele incoltite, semintele de pin. Adauga sare, piper,si condiment oriental dupa gust. O lingur de otet balsamic si 3 linguri de ulei de masline.

Amestecati ingredientele si salata e gata.

Adopting a healthy lifestyle is just an act of self-respect. Many girl that do not feed themselves, take on drastic diets do that just to look good, but looking good on the outside is not always healthy. You go on a diet, after talking to a specialist because you need to, it is for better for your health. I am referring here to people who have a severe weight problem, and the fat cam affect the organs around it making them work slower. So having a smart diet is not a bad idea.

You think of eating vegies, fruits and low fat products on a regular basis is boring, frustrating? Well think of this as an investment in your future.

Feeling and looking younger, having more energy and love of life when you get older.

Working out is also a part of what your daily routine should consist of, but if you don't have the time everyday, you can walk to work, or have a sports day in the weekend. The more you workout the better you will feel, trust me, you would do yourself a favour.

I try to keep a healthy lifestyle because it makes me feel better for straters, but I also know it is great in the long run. As I said before, I am a veggetarian, but I also eat dairy products, and sometimes fish because it is very healthy.I try to workout as often as I can, more in the summer, less in the winter because the cold weather just slows me down. I also enjoy a delicious raw meal, with fruits and vegetables, they give me energy.

And yes, I have to state the reason I felt like writing this. I saw several pictures of fashion designer Vera Wang in a swimsuit, WOW, and yes she is 62!

Can you believe that? Because she keeps a low profile in what her personal life is ocncerned, I bet she eats only healthy food and works out on a regular basis. She also was a figure skater , just look at her legs! Many 15 year old girls don't look anything like her.

I think you should think this over a bit and maybe you too deserve to pay more respect to your life, your body and also soul.

Adoptarea unui regim de viata sanatos este in primul rand o dovada de respect fata de sine. Multe fete se infometeaza, urmeaza diete stricte, nepotrivite, doar pentru a arata foarte bine, ceea ce nu este tot timpul mai sanatos. Urmezi o dieta, dupa indicatiile unui specialist , pentru ca trebuie sa o faci, e mai bine pentru starea ta de sanatate. Aici am refer la persoanele cu probleme mari de greutate, a caror organe vitale pot fi afectate de grasimea care le apasa si le impiedica sa functioneze cum trebuie. Deci a urma o dieta potrivita nu este deloc o idee rea.

Te gandesti ca mancatul de legume, fructe si produse sarace in grasime in mod regulat este plictisitor, frustrant? Gandeste-te ca e o investitie in viitorul tau.

Sa te simti mai bine, mai plin de viata, mai tanar cand deja ai ajuns la o varsta mai inaintata.

Exercitiile fizice de asemenea ar trebuii sa faca parte din rutina zilnica, dar daca nu ai timp zilnic, poti merge pe jos la lucru sau sa planific o zi de sport la sfarsit de saptamana. Cu cat faci mai mult sport, cu atat te vei simtii mai bine, crede-ma ca iti vei face tie o favoare imensa.

Eu incerc sa imi mentin un stil de viata sanatos pentru ca in primul rand ma simt eu mai bine, dar si pentru ca va avea efecte pozitive pe termen lung. Dupa cum am mai zis, eu sunt vegetariana(lacto-ovo-vegetariana), dar mananc si produse lactate sau peste din cand in cand pentru ca este foarte sanatos. Incerc sa fac sport regulat, mai mult vara, mai putin iarna deoarece frigul ma incetineste si nu ma pot mobiliza, sunt friguroasa si as racii repede. De multe ori savurez si cate o masa raw, plina cu fructe si legume proaspete, care imi si dau multa energie.

Ah, si sa va spun motivul care m-a determinat sa scriu aceasta postare. Am vazut cateva fotografii recente cu designerul Vera Wang in costum de baie, WOW, si are 62 de ani!

Iti vine sa crezi? Pentru ca isi tine viata personala departe de ochii lumii, nu se stiu prea multe detalii despre stilul ei de viata, dar fac pariu ca mananca sanatos si face miscare regulat. I tinerete a fost patinatoare, uite ce bine ii arata picioarele. Multe fete de 15 ani nu arata la fel de bine ca ea.

Eu cred ca ar trebui sa te mai gandesti putin si poate ajungi la concluzia ca se merita sa iti respecti viata, corpul si sufletul mult mai mult ca pana acum.

DIY Chain Cardigan

Here is a simple trick to renew your wardrobe. Easy to do, even if you are not that familiar with sowing.

You need, a simple cardigan, sweater, or even a jacket if you like.

Some thread matching the color of the cardigan; you can also use transparent thread too,a sowing needle and some chain. you should measure how much you need, before buying.

I haven't so, I will buy more to add to the sleeves end too.

I chose a dark grey metallic chain, but you can pick any color or size, you can even add 2-3 strands of chain.

You start at one end, and try to keep the same pace taking into accound the edge of the fabric, it should be even.

You should make a loop over each chain link so that it would stay on pretty good.

And it is just as simple as that.

V-am pregatit un mic proiect prin care va puteti reinnoi garderoba rapid si cu investitie minima si nici nu trebuie sa fiti foarte familiarizati cu cusutul.

aveti nevoie de un cardigan simplu,sacou sau orice jacheta pe care vreti sa aplicati lant.

O ata in culoarea cardiganului sau puteti folosi chiar ata transparenta, un ac de cusut mai mare si lant. Inainte sa cumparati lantul, ar trebui sa masurati cati metrii va trebuie. Eu nu am facut asa, si va trebuii sa mai cumpar pentru a aplicat jos la maneca.

Eu am ales un lant metalic destul de lat, de culoare gri inchis. Alegeti orice nuanta si latime de lant doriti, puteti chiar pune 2-3 randuri de lant.

Incepeti la un capat, tinand seama de marginea materialului care trebuie sa fie cat de cat constanta ca latime.

Ca sa tina bine si sa nu existe surprize mai tarziu, coaseti peste fiecare veriga a lantului.

Nu dureaza foarte mult , iar rezultatul este spectaculos.

Am atasat cateva cadre cu cardiganul simplu si dupa aplicarea lantului.

Va place? E destul de simplu?

Aici aveti inca 2 fotografii rezultate in urma unei sedinte foto de anul trecut. Cred ca intr-adevar reuseste sa contureze lumea digitala care ne inconjoara. Sedinta foto a decurs pe parcursul a mai multor ore, reusind sa terminam undeva in jurul ore 2 dimineata, dar s-a meritat.

Rezultatul este spectaculos.

Perfect Breakfast

Good morning everyone! A new week is starting and I am very excited about all the proejcts I will be starting/finishing this week.

Here is a great recipe for a healthy breakfast.

You need:

1 ripped avocado

1 egg

1 garlic clove
Olive oil

Basil

Salt

Pepper

Chilly powder

1 Mango

Peel the avocado and slice it in half. With a t-spoon, empy the half, leaving a thick edge.

What you took out, mix with a whole egg, the basil, salt, pepper, a bit of chilly powder.

Cut the garlic clove in little bits and place some on the inner bottom of the avocado half together with a sprinkle of olive oil.

Fill it with the mixture you just made.

Put it in a frying pan, or even better, bake it in the oven.

Cut some mango bits and place on top of the dish.

Serve with a glass of fresh orange juice or even with steamed vegetables on the side.

Buna dimineata tuturor!

A inceput o noua saptamana si ma bucur tare mult cu gandul ca voi incepe/ temina multe proiecte interesante pe parcursul zilelor ce vor urma.

Va ofer o reteta perfecta pentru un mic dejuns satios si sanatos.

Ingrediente:

1 avocado copt

1 ou

1 catel de usturoi

ulei de masline

Busuioc

Sare

Piper

Pudra chilly

1 Mango

Decojiti fructul de avocado si taiati-l in doua, scotand si samburele. Apoi cu o lingurita, goliti o parte din continut, lasand o margine destul de groasa. Ce ati scos din jumatatea de fruct amestecati cu un ou , busuioc, sare, piper, putina pudra de chilly. Taiati catelul de usturoi in bucatele mici pe care le puneti in jumtatle de fruct impreuna cu o picatura de ulei de masline.

Umpleti bucatile de avocado cu mixtura facuta dupa care se pun in tigaie, sau si mai bine, in cuptor la prajit respectiv copt.

Taiati cateva bucatele de mango pe care le asezati deasupra mancarii cand e deja gata.

Serviti cu un pahar de suc natural de portocale, sau chiar cu legume fierte la aburi.

I recently tried to make a more exotic salad and it really turned out great.

It is very simple, delicious and healthy too.

Perfect for a breakfast or late dinner because it is low in calories.

So here is how you make it.

Chop a mango fruit, red onion, 2 tomatoes, one red pepper.

For the dressing, take a cup, pour some balsamic vinegar, olive oil, a tablespoon of honey, salt, pepper, basil and a bit o chilly.

Mix them together and pour on the salad. Add some parsley leaves and there you have it.

Have a good apetite!

Recent am incercat sa fac o salata mai exotica, care a si iesit foarte bine.

E foarte simplu de facut, delicioasa si sanatoasa.

Perfect pentru un mic dejun sau o cina sanatoasa si saraca in calorii.

Se face in felul urmator.

Se taie un fruct de mango, o ceapa rosie, 2 rosii, un ardei rosu.

Pentru sos, se ia o cana in care se toarna putin otet balsamic,ulei de masline, o lingurita de miere, sare, piper, busuioc, si putin chilly.

Se amesteca si se toarna peste salata. Se adauga frunze de patrunjel.

Confessions of an Eyeglass-A-Holic

As you have been asking me why I wore glasses a few posts back and now I don't, I will explain in this post.

No, I don't wear eyeglasses just because it is in fashion, I suffer from myopia.

When I was a kid, about 10 years ago, I wished that I should have to wear glasses, and even tried to trick the eye doctor in believing that I couldn't see well. Back then I didn't have to wear them, but now I do.

I was a bit depresses when I found that out, having to wear glasses all the time is not my idea of a trend.

I went and looked for the perfect pair of eyeglasses, to match the shape of my face, but I didn't like anything. A few days after, I went and bought several frames that I liked; it was a strategy to try and not get bored or depressed seeing the same pair everytime.

Now I wear contact lenses most of the time and I have a damn good reason for that. I drive daily and my eyes are sensitive, so I use sunglasses.

Can you picture me wearing two pairs of eyeglasses at the same time? I bet not. So I use contact lenses and protect my eyes with sunglasses.

Here are some of my eyeglasess. I told you I got many pairs, this post would have been looonger if I would have posted all of them.

Which do you like better?

Avand in vedere ca m-ati tot intrebat de ce mai demult ati vazut fotografii cu mine purtand ochelarii , iar acum nu mai port, am decis sa va raspund.

Nu purtam ochelari doar pentru ca e in trend, chiar sufar de miopie.

Cand eram mai mica, aproximativ acum 10 ani, vroiam neaparat sa port ochelari de vedere, mi se parea foarte fain, si chiar am incercat sa o pacalesc pe doamna doctor ca nu vad bine. Dar atunci nu am reusit. Acum chiar sunt nevoita sa ii port. La inceput am fost putin deprimata, nu reuseam sa ma obisnuiesc cu ideea ca va trebui sa ii port zilnic. Astfel am cautat tot orasul sa imi gasesc o pereche potrivita pentru forma fetei mele,dar nu mi-a placut nimic.

Dupa cateva zile am continuat cautarea si mi-am achizitionat o sumedenie de rame, diferite culori si forme; era o strategie de a incerca sa nu ma plictisesc sa vad zilnic in oglinda aceeasi pereche de ochelari.

Acum de cele mai multe ori port lentile de contact, si chiar am un motiv bun pentru asta.

Avand in vedere ca conduc zilnic, iar ochii mei sunt sensibili, port ochelari de soare.

M-ati vedea purtand doua perechi de ochelari una peste alta? Nu cred. Deci folosesc lentile de contact sa pot vedea mai bine, si ochelari de soare sa ii protejez .

Aici aveti o parte din ochelarii mei.Daca ii pozam pe toti , aceasta postare ar fi fost muuult mai lunga.

It is so cold outside and I really hate it! I hope that spring is close and it will bloom just after the snow melts. And yes, it will be all a puddle of ex-snow, and we will ruin all our shoes, The joy!

But yes, I am optimistic , and I will lie to myself that it is sunny outside.

Put my sunglasses on, a smile, and pretend I live in a fairytale where it is hot outside.

E asa de frig afara si eu chiar urasc vremea asta! Sper ca primavara este chiar dupa colt asteptand sa se topeasca zapada , sa poata inflorii din toata puterea.

Si da, totul va fi initial o mocirla in care o sa ne stricam toti pantofii frumosi, Minunat!

Dar sunt optimista, si ma voi mintii ca este soare afara.

Imi pun ochelarii de soare pe ochii, un zambet pe buze, si voi pretinde ca traiesc intr-o poveste in care este foarte cald afara.

The entire outfit is designed and styled by myself. I really love how this necklace looks on her, a touch of glamour.

The hair-do is natural, a bit curled at the ends, and I really love the fact that she kept her natural color, no dye. It fits her perfectly!

The make-up is a little more deep, a more intense smokey eye and the lips a darker nude.

Si partea a doua a transformarii. O tinuta eleganta perfecta pentru o ocazie speciala.

Intreaga tinuta este creata de mine. Imi place foarte mult cum arata acest colier in combinatie , ii ofera un plus de glamour.

Coafura are o linie naturala, un pic ondulata la varfuri. Ceea ce imi place foarte mult, este ca si-a pastrat culoare de par naturala, ii sta foarte bine!

MAchiajul este putin mai intens, mai dramatic decat cel de zi. Buzele au fost pastrate pe o nuanta nude dar putin mai inchisa.

3 Girls, The Sweetest Car and a Foggy Little Town

We left this morning with a huge coffee supply (spilled) that should have woken us up on the way there.
Very cold, and foggy, a weird atmosphere, similar to "The Mist" movie as Alexandra said.

Actually the traffic wasn't that bad, we got there safe and sound . Tiny GPS problems and door opening issues, right Andreea?:P but it was quite a nice day.

We laughted, we made fun, ate some creepy pasta and took these pictures when the sun came out. I bet he smiled at us:D

We had a lovely view on the way back, you can see in the picture below, and also my new nail colors

Am plecat azi dimineata cu o tona de cafea(varsata) dupa noi care ar fi trebuit sa ne trezeasca pe drum.

A fost foarte frig, si ceata, o atmosfera ciudata , similar cu cea din filmul "The Mist' dupa cum spunea Alexandra.

Pana la urma s-a circulat destul de bine, si am ajuns in timp util si in siguranta la destinatie.

Mici probleme cu GPS-ul si cu deschidere usii, asa-i Andreea?:P Dar a fost o zi minunata.

Am ras, ne-am distrat si am mancat niste paste destul de ciudate, dupa care am facut si aceste fotografii exact cand a iesit putin soarele. Sigur ne-a zambit noua :D

La intoarcere am avut parte de un peisaj deosebit, capturat intr-o fotografie mai jos.

As I said before, I really hate winter, and cold weather in general. I seem to feel blocked and my inspiration is frozen. I hope that Spring is just around the corner,because I want to get motivated and work more.

These pictures were taken on a really cold, yet sunny day, and I was trying to force Spring in coming faster making her feel guilty that I was induring the cold.

Well it seem she totaly ignored me, but I don't give up that easily.

Because I got many emails asking about my eyebrows, how I got this shape, if I dye them or not, what special products do I use etc. I decided to let you in on a little secret.

Here is my BEFORE picture( I am on the left, red blouse). This was about 6 years ago when I used to do my eyebrows by myself. Bad idea!

I really ruined the shape, if you can really call that a shape.

Pentru ca am primit multe emailuri legate despre cum imi fac sprancenele, daca le vopsesc sau daca folosesc produse speciale de ingrijire etc. Am decis sa va impartasesc un mic secret.

Aici aveti fotografia de INAINTE .( stanga, bluza rosie). A fost facuta acum vreo 6 ani pe cand imi faceam singura sprancenele. Ma rog , mai bine spus le-am distrus singura, ca nu aveau nici o forma, erau prea scurte, stricau intreaga fizionomie.

Then I got a recommendation from a friend to go for a facial treatment at a specialist she knew then.

I got myself a treatment, everything went perfect and I asked her to try and fix my eyebrows. After some months we really got to the point when I had a great shape.

Now I have my eyebrows done once a month. She shapes them and adds a bit of color where needed.

You can see now that there is a huge difference between what I did to them and what a specialist can do .

Eyebrows are really important in emphasizing your facial expression , the shape should be made according to your features and only a specialist knows exactly how to balance everything.

Bineinteles ca nu se putea din prima, aveau de crescut ceva pana sa ajunga la o forma cat de cat. Dupa cateva luni, deja puteam spune ca arat decent. Aveau o forma frumoasa si imi schimbase deja expresia fetei.

Acum imi fac sprancenele o data pe luna. Le penseaza, le tunde si le vopseste putin, unde e nevoie.

Cred ca vedeti si voi o diferenta clara de cum aratau cand le faceam eu si cum arata acum cand cineva avizat se ingrijeste de ele in mod regulat.

Forma sprancenelor este foarte importanta si influenteaza intreaga expresie a fetei. Aceasta trebuine sa fie adaptata cresterii naturale a firului , dar si formei ochilor ceea ce doar un specialist stie sa faca mult mai bine decat oricare dintre noi.

Homemade "Junk Food"

A few days ago we got a bread making machine and we tried different recipies. We also made pizza dough with it. Follow the instructions in the manual in order to make the dough. Preheat the oven.

Acum cateva zile ne-am luat un aparat de facut paine si de atunci am tot incercat diferite retete. Recent am facut si aluat de pizza. Reteta se gaseste in manualul aparatului. Incalziti cuptorul inainte.

After you prepared the dough in the bread machine, layer an aluminium foil on the bottom of the tray, and on it the dough perfectly even.

Dupa ce ati facut aluatul in masina de paine, se va pune o folie de aluminiu pe fundul tavii, iar peste aluatul intins.

Pour some tomato sauce or ketchup and just cover the dough lightly.

Puneti sos de tomate sau ketchup deasupra aluatului si intindeti-l pe toata suprafata.

Now it's time to add the rest of the ingredients. I chose red peppers.

Acum se vor pune ingredientele dorite. Eu am ales ardeii rosii.

Ciuperci

Edam cheese, Cheddar cheese and Parmesan

Branza Edam,Cheddar si parmezan

A bit of goat cheese, oregano, majoran, basil and chilly.

Putina branza de capra ,oregnao, maghiran ,busuioc si chilli.

Put it in the oven and wait until it get's caramel color on the edge.

Puneti la cuptor si asteptati pana cand marginea aluatului se face o nuanta de caramel.

I really love rock inspired outfits and I think they suit me well. This is a combination of vintage items, DIY studded shorts and a leather jacket designed by me.

The leopard scarf really has a sentimental value, because it was my father's and he used to wear it in concerts many years ago.

These pictures were taken a few days ago when it wasn't that cold outside, and yes I had a pillow under so I won't catch a cold. Now it's snowing and I really don't like it!

Esarfa cu imprimeu de leopard are valoare sentimentala , apartinand tatalui meu care o purta acum multi ani in concerte, fiind in mare voga atunci.

Fotografile au fost facute acum cateva zile cand nu era asa frig, si da, aveam o perna sub ca sa nu racesc.

Si acum ninge spre dezamagirea mea. In primul rand pentru ca nu imi place zapada si in al doilea rand pentru ca abia am spalat masina :|

Talking about a healthy lifestyle I want to tell you about a great restaurant here in Timisoara BioFresh.

About 3 years and a half ago I gave up eating meat, and I feel much better. Not that I had any health problems, but it was a decision to try a new way of life.

I have heard many times of this place, BioFresh, but I never found time to go there until yesterday when I had a lovely dinner with Cristina.

I had a carrot soup that you can see in the foreground, and Cristina had a lentil soup , pictured in the background. Both of them were delicios!

All the ingredients are bio and fresh, the dishes are made on the spot and they also have all kinds of tea and natural juices.

The menu is full of healthy yet delicious food making the decision of what to eat very hard. I can't wait to go again and try another delicious dish.

If not for new lifestyle, or a detox diet, but just for a single lunch, you should try it.

Acum a proximativ 3 ani şi jumătate am renunţat la consumul de carne, şi mă simt mult mai bine. Nu că as fi avut probleme de sănătate, dar a fost o decizie de a încerca un nou mod de viaţă.

Toate ingredientele sunt bio şi proaspete , felurile de mâncare sunt făcute la faţa locului şi au, de asemenea, multe tipuri de ceai şi sucuri naturale.

Meniul este plin de alimente sănătoase si chiar delicioase, fiind destul de greu de ales ce sa mananci. Abia aştept să merg din nou şi să încerc un alt fel de mâncare.

Dacă nu pentru un nou stil de viata, sau o dieta de detoxifiere, doar pentru un simplu prânz, ar trebui să-l încercaţi.

Perfect day for walking in the woods with Lucky.

Although it was kind of muddy, the day was great, but we went out a bit late and the light wasn't too good for pictures.

We took a breath of fresh air and did some exercise, and Lucky made a new friend too.

Asa mi-am petrecut eu Ajunul anului Nou, in familie.

Atmosfera din culise este unica, nu se poate compara cu ceea ce se vede din public.

This Year has been great! Although it started bad, at the end it was probably one of the best years.

Traveled a lot, had fun, worked a lot and achieved many goals.

Made new firends and met a lot of interesting people.

Had challenging projects and difficult ones too.

I feel that 2012 is going to be better than the year that passed!

Acest an a fost minunat! Deşi a început rău, pe la sfârşit a fost probabil unul dintre cei mai buni ani.
Am călătorit foarte mult, m-am distrat, am muncit mult şi am reusit sa imi ating o parte din teluri.
Mi-am făcut prieteni noi şi am întâlnit o mulţime de oameni interesanţi.
Am avut proiecte interesante dar şi unele dificile.
Simt că 2012 va fi mai bun decât anul care a trecut!

Recently I started another collaboration with a vintage and designer boutique in Bucharest, Atelier Aiurea.

The place has a really fun atmosphere where you can find treasures that you never could imagine. Different style fit for every taste.

Recent, am început o altă colaborare cu un boutique din Bucureşti, Atelier Aiurea.

Aici puteti gasi creatii a unor designeri romani dar si piese vintage extrem de frumoase. Atmosfera magazinului este deosebita, plina de viata si culoare, ca si un cufar plin de comori. Stiluri diferite pentru toate gusturile.
